Keeping things 'as they are' when you know that they are wrong, just so you can keep things 'old style' or 'old feel' is always wrong.

When a new better system is designed and is proven to work, it should be implemented for the whole.

RETROACTIVITY in games is good.

Wrong? Is it wrong that you actually have to play the game to get those attribute points? What you want, everything served in silver plate? Give the quests in Ascalon and then in Northern Shiverpeaks?

Those attribute points aren't even needed, the campaign is hell easy until the desert. Monsters don't hit level 20 until the Jungle, and that's only the bosses.

And about a "better system", where you get that from? Last time I checked, newbie players with only Factions have their assassins with 6 attack skills, and newbie players with only Prophecies have their Warriors at the jungle without an IAS and Healing Signet.

Earlier attribute points don't make you expert or doesn't means you'll have a powerful build.

No. It's wrong to have characters from other campaigns being able to leave with 200 attribute poinjts just after getting to the port city, but not Prophecies characters.

Maybe a character from Factions can leave at level 6 with no attributes, but has the choice to get to level 20 and 200 attribute points BEFORE leaving the areas prevous to the port town. Nightfall cahracters can do so too. And they can enter Multiple times the Consulate Docks mission to quickly get to level 20.

But Prophecies characters can't. They MUST go theough a lot of the plot after the port to be at the same footage as characters of other campaigns.

That's wrong. That was fixed in Factions and Nightfall, and that must be fixed in Prophecies.

I still have to restate my point. Villany of Galrath is the "hardest" mid-campaign quest in prophecies. MANY players dont even do it. It is an excellent quest to tack the first attribute points onto. The sencond 15
points I would leave i the desert. As far as "needing" the points earlier,
nobody really "needs" these points earlier. It would just be more of a
balance to have half of them earlier in the game. I mean really if you
can't play through prophecies without those 30 points then your doing something wrong. My biggest issue with Prophecies is that all of the good
Elite skills are at the END of the game. When I took my warrior through
the game the first time, it would have been really nice to get Hundred
Blades in the desert instead of the last mission in the game.
But lets not mess with prophecies too much. It is what attracted me to
stay in the game for these past 2 1/2 years. Game progression in Factions
is geared to pvp players and NF is a mix of PVE/PVP progression, so lets
not destroy the one game that was designed with the PVE player in mind.
